Refund & Cancellation Policy

At TENKA, we are dedicated to providing a world-class dining experience. Because our ingredients are sourced fresh and often flown in directly from Japan, we maintain the following policies regarding refunds and reservations.


1. Reservation Deposits & No-Shows

To ensure we can accommodate all our guests, a $20.00 deposit per person is required at the time of booking.

  • 15-Minute Grace Period: We allow a 15-minute grace period from the time of your reservation. If your party has not arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, your reservation will be marked as a “No-Show” and the table may be released to other guests.

  • Non-Refundable Deposits: If a party fails to show up for their reservation or fails to cancel at least 24 hours in advance, the $20.00 per person deposit is strictly non-refundable.

2. Cancellations Due to Illness

We understand that emergencies and illnesses happen. However, to receive a refund of your deposit for a cancellation made less than 24 hours before your reservation due to health reasons:

  • Doctor’s Note Required: You must provide a written note from a licensed medical professional confirming that you or a member of your party is unable to attend.

  • Submission: Please email your documentation to info@tenkapalmbeach.com within 48 hours of your missed reservation for our team to review.

3. Food & Drink Quality

Due to the perishable nature of our cuisine (Sushi/Kappou), we do not offer refunds for “change of mind.”

  • Immediate Feedback: If a dish or drink does not meet our quality standards, please notify your server immediately. We will prioritize replacing the item or correcting the bill before you depart.

  • Allergy Policy: Guests must notify staff of any food allergies prior to ordering. We cannot offer refunds for dishes ordered where an undisclosed allergy is later discovered.

4. Alcohol Policy

Per Florida state law, we cannot offer refunds or “take-back” credits for alcoholic beverages once they have been served, unless the product is physically tainted (e.g., corked wine).

5. Processing Refunds

Approved refunds for deposits will be processed back to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
